"Saying 'I notice you're a nerd' is like saying, 'Hey, I notice that you'd rather be intelligent than be stupid, that you'd rather be thoughtful than be vapid, that you believe that there are things that matter more than the arrest record of Lindsay Lohan. Why is that?' In fact, it seems to me that most contemporary insults are pretty lame. Even 'lame' is kind of lame. Saying 'You're lame' is like saying 'You walk with a limp.' Yeah, whatever, so does 50 Cent, and he's done all right for himself."— John Green

  1. I've recently read and loved Legend. I'm getting ready to read Pandemonium, which everyone seems to rave about.

  2. Yaaay, I have read so many good things about Starters and I can't wait to get my own copy someday.

Besides the obvious Hunger Games - I really enjoyed Legend by Marie Lu as a YA dystopian novel. The characters are really great and had some awesome chemistry. I don't know if you've already that one, but if you haven't you should totally give it a try.

And thank you so much for this awesome giveaway - and for making it international. DFTBA

  3. I haven't been reading too much dystopian/supernatural lately. One of the best I've read lately was Cinder. I just finished Incarnate, but I didn't love it.

  21. I haven't read much dystopian recently, just Article 5 by Kirsten Simmons which I liked, but it did't compare with Divergent for me. I have loads of dystopians on my shelf which I need to get round to: Delirium, Wither, Pure, Mockingjay, Eve....

  26. The one I read most recently was Article 5. I really liked it--and it brought a spark back to the genre for me. Right now I'm reading Partials--it has some good Post-Apocalyptic elements--but hasn't grabbed me yet.
