"Saying 'I notice you're a nerd' is like saying, 'Hey, I notice that you'd rather be intelligent than be stupid, that you'd rather be thoughtful than be vapid, that you believe that there are things that matter more than the arrest record of Lindsay Lohan. Why is that?' In fact, it seems to me that most contemporary insults are pretty lame. Even 'lame' is kind of lame. Saying 'You're lame' is like saying 'You walk with a limp.' Yeah, whatever, so does 50 Cent, and he's done all right for himself."— John Green

  1. Right now, my state allows doctors to lie to you about diseases your baby has while you are pregnant. I would abolish that.

  10. Ugh this is a hard question because I'm in Law School and think there are too many laws and that people have a huge misconception about what laws actually say and do. If I had to think of a law I didn't agree with it would be the 1996 Terrorism and Effective Death Penalty Act which basically had nothing to do with Terrorism and everything to do with getting rid of Federal Habeas (which I think is rather important). Ok, getting off my soap box now!

  11. WOW I have honestly never thought about this... lol... I do have to go with making marriage between same sex equal. This is a subject very close to my family and it would just be great to see it passed.
