"Saying 'I notice you're a nerd' is like saying, 'Hey, I notice that you'd rather be intelligent than be stupid, that you'd rather be thoughtful than be vapid, that you believe that there are things that matter more than the arrest record of Lindsay Lohan. Why is that?' In fact, it seems to me that most contemporary insults are pretty lame. Even 'lame' is kind of lame. Saying 'You're lame' is like saying 'You walk with a limp.' Yeah, whatever, so does 50 Cent, and he's done all right for himself."— John Green

  3. I think the Divergent society would be interesting to live in, especially with all the factions :)

    ReplyDelete
  4. I don't want to live in Dystopia World or to be part Dystopia Society

    ReplyDelete
  5. Maybe in the society of Divergent because unlike, Delirium, it's just divisions, factions as they call it. but the thought of living in a dystopian society gives me chills.

    ReplyDelete
  6. I want to live in a society in Divergent, and be a Divergent.

    ReplyDelete
  7. divergent society

    ReplyDelete
  8. I wouldn't like to live in any of the dystopian societys I've read about.

    ReplyDelete
  9. As much as I enjoy dystopian novels/books/stories etc., I`m not sure if I`d be ready to join any of those worlds :D
    Thanks for the giveaway! :)

    ReplyDelete
  10. None really, lol. But if I had to choose, the one from Brave New World.

  11. One in which I have a chance of surviving.

    ReplyDelete
  12. well... that's a hard question. LOL. Probably none, but if I had Gale around, then Panem. :P

    ReplyDelete
  13. I wouldn`t want to live in any society if I had the choice, but if I had to really choose one, then Cinder`s from Marissa
    Meyer`s book Cinder

  14. I would never want to live in a dystopian society... so much oppression and horrors, and methinks one of the worse is that in The Hunger Games trilogy (which I love for a reading, but never to live on).

    Thx for the giveaway =]

    ReplyDelete
  15. I'd like to live in the Divergent society xD

    ReplyDelete
  16. This society is fine for me, dystopian societies are much worse than ours..

    ReplyDelete
  17. I wouldn't want to live in a dystopian society, but if I had to choose, I'd like o live in Extras by Scot Westerfeld.

    ReplyDelete
  18. This is a hard question, but if I had to live in a dystopian society I'd choose Divergent.

    ReplyDelete
  19. The Host, as a human in the caves of course. Preferably with Ian O'Shea. ^^
    Thanks for the giveaway!

    ReplyDelete
  20. I don't think I'd be happy in any of them. They sound like pretty unpleasant places. Hope that's OK. Thanks for the giveaway.

    ReplyDelete
  21. +JMJ+

I love your question! =D I wouldn't want to live in any fictional dystopia I know, but if I had no choice but to settle for one, I'd go with the world in Matched. I haven't read the book yet, but I'm more open to the idea of arranged marriages than anyone I know (including friends I've had who expected to marry men their parents chose for them), so I don't suppose I'd mind too much. (Famous last words? LOL!)

    Thanks for the giveaway! =)

  22. I wouldn´t want to live in any dystopian societies, if I had to choose it would be Divergent.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I wouldn't. But, if I had to, probably the Hunger Games. It's morbid, but I think I'd want to take the chance of kicking some butt.

    Thanks for the giveaway.

    ReplyDelete
  24. None, actually.. They sound horrible!

    ReplyDelete
  25. i may like to read them but i don't think i would like to live in any of them.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Reading dystopian books are awesome but I can't really imagine myself living in one.:))

    ReplyDelete
  27. Prob one like Under the Never Sky! I would love to join the Tides with Aria and Perry because I love the outdoors and i love how they are all so close like family!

    ReplyDelete
  28. I wouldn't want to live in dystopian society because they are almost always full of restrictions.

Thank you for these original giveaway picks.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I don't think I'm brave enough for one! Although I used to imagine I was a character in one of my favourite dystopian novels, The Girl Who Owned a City by O.T Nelson. Thank you!

    ReplyDelete
  30. None! Dystopian worlds by definition are bad.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Ummm... none? Haha, they are much too oppressive for my liking.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I'll answer your question with one of my own.. what if THIS is a dystopian world? cuz if things get much worse - weatherwise, environmentally, criminally, etc. - we'll definitely be living a dystopian life.
by the way, yours was a great question
.... food for thought, right? :)

you have a great selection to choose from, thanks for this opportunity!

    ReplyDelete
  33. I'm not sure if I want to live in a dystopian society!
But if I had to choose one, would be the Divergent society!

    ReplyDelete
  34. Anyone that Margaret Atwood creates because she's outrageously creative!

    ReplyDelete
  35. I wouldn't want to live in any dystopian world.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Thanks for posting this giveaway, I am now following you via GFC. Gotta agree with the poster before me-- I wouldn't want to live in any dystopian world.

  37. If I had to choose, I think I'd go with Bumped. Not that I'm cool with knocking up young girls, but considering the violent alternatives, I'd have to choose that one.

    Thank you!

    ReplyDelete
  38. The Hunger Games! haha, just kidding. I wouldn't want to live in the Hunger Games dystopia.
Divergent's world sounds pretty cool, picking your faction and everything. Although, I'd be worried i'm a divergent....

    ReplyDelete
  39. The Capitol from THG, maybe? Haha. :))

    ReplyDelete
  40. Extras by Scott Westerfeld, sounds like an awesome one. Apart from being a dystopian..

    ReplyDelete
  41. Yikes! None, of course.
They are too bleak and gloomy for my taste. I love my present society :D

    ReplyDelete
  42. Probably Divergent or Partials :) thanks!!!

    ReplyDelete
  43. I would like to live in Divergent society.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Urggh, sometime i feel so lucky not to live in some of Dystopian's world. But i guess ill pick Divergent, i would like to join Amity ;D

    ReplyDelete
  45. Although my fave dystopian read was THG trilogy, I don't want to be part of their society--I'm too weak to compete the Games. I'm also aware that I don't belong to any of the Factions in Divergent. So I guess I'm picking to be part of Cinder. Androids are pretty cool to be my friends. :)

    ReplyDelete
  46. I would love to live in the pre-war Divergent society. Especially the Dauntless way of life... Thanks for the great giveaway!

    ReplyDelete
  47. I would love to be Dauntless in the Divergent society...what fun it would be!

    ReplyDelete
  48. I think Divergent...it seems less trigger-happy.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Divergent, of course :)

    ReplyDelete
  50. It's hard to think of living in any dystopian world, maybe Divergent.

    ReplyDelete
  51. I would choose Divergent. I like how it's set up. :)

    ReplyDelete
  52. I don't think I would want to live in any dystopian societies. It would be to much for me to handle! lol

    ReplyDelete
  53. Hmm...I wouldn't want to live in a dystopian society, but if I could avoid all of the chaos that unfurls, I'd say the Divergent society would be easiest to cope with.

    Thanks for the giveaway!

    ReplyDelete
  54. I wouldn't want to live in any dystipian societies, really.

    ReplyDelete
  55. I don't think I would want to live in any dystopian society! I guess if I had to pick one, it would be the Divergetn society. Thanks for this amazing giveaway - I would love to win!

    ReplyDelete
  56. I can't think of any I'd want to live in...they are usually very depressing. Thanks for the giveaway!

    ReplyDelete
  57. None of them, to be honest, but if I had to pick one, probably Divergent. They're all corrupt, but I think that's the least harsh of the ones I've read about.

    ReplyDelete
  58. I don't think I'd like to live in any of them lol Maybe the Divergent society, at least it's not The Hunger Games...

    ReplyDelete
  59. Thanks for the giveaway! I've always thought the world of Brave New World would be best, because there's other, non-dystopian places you're free to go to.

    ReplyDelete
  60. I wouldn't want to live in any dystopian societies.
    http://www.myparanormalbookreview.blogspot.com

    ReplyDelete
  61. I'd prefer to live in my own society rather than dystopian ones. They sound really dangerous!

    ReplyDelete
  62. I wouldn't like to live in a dystopian society AT ALL! but if I must choose one I'd say Divergent society ^^

    ReplyDelete
  63. If I had to, Cinder but only as a human, definitely not a Luna

    ReplyDelete
  64. I've read a lot of dystopians, and so far I haven't found one that I'd like to live in. They're all pretty brutal.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Not sure I would love to live in a dystopian society. But I wan't to visit, just visit, the Hunger Games society :D

    ReplyDelete
  66. Reading as many dystopian books as I have read my first answer would be none but if I had to choose one I guess I would go with the dystopian society in the Uglies series by Scott Westerfeld. I mean sure I would be a bubble head but I would be oblivious to it.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Probably mine too. I mean, they party everyday right? Might as well!

      Delete
  67. None, thanks! I can't think of a single dystopian society that seems appealing in the least. Thanks for the chance to read about one, though!

    ReplyDelete
  68. I want to live in divergent society

    ReplyDelete
  69. Well, I'm pretty lazy so I'd have to choose the world in Under the Never Sky and while Perry is quite yummy, I would keep my behind right in Reverie and enjoy exploring the Realms with the other Podsters, no cannibals and aether storms for me, thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  70. Sincerely, I don't think I would like to live in a dystopian society.

    ReplyDelete
  71. I wouldn't want to live in any of them, especially the one in Pure! What a nightmare! I love these books because they make our world seem fantastic!

    ReplyDelete
  72. It's so hard to tell because in the dystopian books I've read the society is damaged in some way. I wouldn't like to live in any of them to be honest. If I really have to choose I'm gonna say Divergent, just because I would like to meet Four :D

    ReplyDelete
  73. In the Divergent society

    ReplyDelete
  74. I think the point of dystopians is that they're dystopian worlds...so they're the opposite of an ideal world...so they're worlds you probably wouldn't want to live in...?
But the Divergent society does seem like a decent choice, actually! :)

    ReplyDelete
  75. Ideally none of them, but I guess the Divergent society would be the best of a bad lot.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Maybe Divergent, although I better get some knee pads ready!

    ReplyDelete
  77. I would not want to live in any of the Dystopian societies! I want to live in a Utopian society. Thanks for the giveaway Eli!

    ReplyDelete
  78. I loved Lauren Oliver's idea about a dystopian world but don't want to live there, where's no love and passion ...:S these what we live for in real life! :)

    ReplyDelete
  79. The society in Partials wasn't so bad

    ReplyDelete
  80. O.O No one!!

(Okay, maybe in the Society of Blood Red Road, if I'm a free hawk or something like Jack xd)

    ReplyDelete
  81. Oh God! They're like so scary, at least the ones I have read about. I don't think I would actually "like" to live in any of them. I think if I had to choose between my favorite dystopian worlds/books, I'd say I like Matched, and it is (at least for me) the most bearable, I think. So I'd go with that one.
Great question by the way! Thanks for the giveaway :)

    ReplyDelete
  82. I think the one in the Uglies series would be ok.

    ReplyDelete
  83. I do not know it it counts or not, but The Walking Dead might work as long as I can take along my son who is so preparing for the apocalypse LOL Thank you for the fun!

    ReplyDelete
  84. Definitely NOT the Hunger Games.. I can't think of someone I want to live in. I like to read about them but I wouldn't want to live in any of them.
    Thank you for the giveaway!

    ReplyDelete
  85. Roth's Divergent was great, I'd love to be a Dauntless! And I'd just peek into THG, living there would probably be too much :)

    ReplyDelete
  86. I wouldn't want to live in any of the dystopian societies.
But if I have to choose, I'd probably live in the Divergent society.

    ReplyDelete
  87. This comment has been removed by the author.

  88. I wouldn't want to live in any of them but If I had to choose I think the Divergent society.
    Thank you for the giveaway!

  89. I would love to live in the Divergent society too! Dealing with the fractions would be soooo amazing, AND Four would be there ;)

    ReplyDelete
  90. If I have to pick the HOST

    ReplyDelete
  91. MMM, none of them really, but if I must choose I'll go with Under the Never Sky

    ReplyDelete
  92. None of them. I guess if I had to pick, I would go with Bumped.

    ReplyDelete
  93. Unfortunately, I've only read Maze Runner, Cinder, and Hunger Games. Of course all the societies are awful but I suppose Maze Runner might be the best because there is no plague or chance of being thrown into a violent competition, yikes!

    Thanks

    ReplyDelete
  94. Well, from what I've read so far ... NONE of them lol
But, The Pledge was kinda interesting with their class system, so I wouldn't mind that TOO badly (if I was one of the lucky ones) ;D
    Mary DeBorde (M.A.D.)

    ReplyDelete
  95. Hmm, none sounds very appealing but if I had to - maybe Divergent?

    ReplyDelete
  96. Uhm maybe the Matched series. Imagine no violence and everybody has a job lol But their rules also freaks me out lol

    @Tibiux

    ReplyDelete
  97. I know this might sound crazy, but if I'm going to pick I would like to live in the Delirium society. I just feel like I'm cut out for that society. :)

    ReplyDelete
  98. Oh I dunno.. maybe Divergent society. Or maybe not, it's too depressing!

    ReplyDelete
  99. I think Darkness Before Dawn by J.A. London maybe, it sounds good. :)

    ReplyDelete
  100. I won't like to live in any, they're all oppressive and I can't imagine surviving in such a lifestyle. Thank you for the giveaway. :)

    ReplyDelete
  101. Probably Matched society. I mean yeah everyone is jaded but everyone is healthy and has food and work and family. If you dont realize how else it could be it seems like a perfect society.

    ReplyDelete
  102. I wouldn't want to live in any of them. Dystopian novels are all about how bad society can get messed up.

    ReplyDelete
  103. I want the one from The Selection. It's really not so bad :)

    ReplyDelete
  104. I don't think I'd want to live in any of them.

    ReplyDelete
  105. Is none an option? lol.

    ReplyDelete
  106. Hm, I'm not sure I'd want to live in a dystopian society. But if I HAD to choose, it would be a Divergent society.

    ReplyDelete
  107. I don't know, most of them are pretty messed up LOL.
    Thanks for the giveaway though

    ReplyDelete
  108. I haven't read a lot of Dystopian books, but I know that I wouldn't want to live in any one of them lol

    ReplyDelete
  109. Hm, I don't think I would love to live in a dystopian society, lol. But it's interesting to imagine.

    ReplyDelete
  110. I don't know. Haha. Probably Divergent. :D

    ReplyDelete
  111. I haven't read one yet that i would like to be apart of, but i guess it would be Divergent!

    ReplyDelete
  112. Divergent and I'd be a Divergent :)

    ReplyDelete
  113. Probably the one in Divergent, but I really don't want to live in any of them!

    ReplyDelete
  114. Divergent or Matched society, not really because I like them, but because they're more appealing than other dystopian societies like in The Hunger Games, Delirium, or Birthmarked.

    ReplyDelete
  115. I don't think I'd want to live in any of them!! The only thing I like about the Matched society is that the meals are all made and I wouldn't have to worry about cooking, LOL!

    ReplyDelete
  116. If I had to choose I would pick the Divergent type of Dystopian society! Thanks for the great giveaway!

    ReplyDelete
  117. well, not really in any of them... But if I had to choose I'd take the one from Brave New World.

    ReplyDelete
  118. Why would anyone want to live in ANY dystopian society???

    ReplyDelete
  119. Well, I would not really WANT to live in one, but I think of the books I have read, I would prefer The Lost Immortals: When copper Suns Fall. I think i would do better dealing with that controlled world with descendants of gods to deal with, best if I could be one of the ones with abilities, lol. And the other I could maybe live with is Paradise 21 (New Dawn Series) space travel in a ship as big as a city would be cool but then I would not like a computer choosing my mate for me, so to re-populate the dwindling humans. lol.(Earth was destroyed and unlivable)

For sure not want to be in Divergent or Hunger Games, or even Darkness Falls books by Jessica Sornsen. I would think I would not survive, lol
    thanks for the giveaway

    ReplyDelete
  120. I think dystopian worlds are awesome and part of me thinks it would be cool to live in one of these dystopian societies but then I think about it and I'd rather not. ;) Thanks for the great giveaway!

    ReplyDelete
  121. I would rather not live in a dystopian society

    ReplyDelete
  122. I'm pretty sure dystopian societies are all unpleasant :)

    ReplyDelete
  123. I would rather not live in any one that I have read so far, but if pressed to choose I would prefer the Divergent society in the Amity compound please.

    ReplyDelete
  124. None! Oh my gosh! They are all terrible....however, lol, I think it might be a bit interesting to be a "Pretty" as long as I could still be myself inside still! lol

    ReplyDelete
  125. Divergent I guess

    ReplyDelete
  126. Well, definitely the Divergent society. These are a terrific selection of books for prizes. Thank you so much for your generosity and for hosting this terrific giveaway on your beautiful blog!! :D (Angie Edwards)

    ReplyDelete
  127. no thanks, i prefer the real world to live in!
but if I have to choose , i dont know, almost every society are terrible! specially the hunger games one! I would die in a second!
    thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  128. Hunger Games capital city! :P

    ReplyDelete
  129. That would be a no to all of them :)

    Jolene A

    ReplyDelete
  130. None, but if I had to choose I'd pick Divergent.

    ReplyDelete
  131. I don't want to live in one at all! *shivers* But~ for the sake of answering I think the one I could handle best would be Under the Never Sky.

    ReplyDelete
  132. I wouldn't want to live in any of them.

    ReplyDelete
  133. None! But if I had to choose, maybe Crewel?

    ReplyDelete
  134. None, but if I had to choose I would choose The Selection. Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  135. I like to read about them, but wouldn't want to live in one. Too many rules, segrations of people, and government of some sort.
