Holiday Gift Guide: Bad Boys

I'm doing something new this holiday season; I wanted to give book recommendations that would make good gifts!  So I'm going to pick themes  and list books that I think are the best of the best, making great gifts to the book lovers in your life!  I will preface this by stating most of my recommendations will be YA, so keep that in mind!
Books to Buy for the Bad Boy Book Lover! 

13 to Life by Shannon Delany - After the death of her mother Jessie just wants things to stay the same.  But the stranger Pietr rolls in to town, and he effects Jessie's life throughly.  But will his secrets hurt Jessie or can she save him? Not just bad boys, but werewolves as well, this is perfect for the supernatural reader!  
City of Bones by Cassandra Clare - Clary sees Jace for the first time killing a man, and this sets the tone of their relationship.  Jace is a Shadowhunter, someone who protects the Mundane world from the dangerous supernatural elements.  Clary fits into his world more than she knows.  But everything is against these two.  If the reader in your life likes intense action, epic romance, and the most well-crafted world I've read, then this is the book for them!  
Evernight by Claudia Gray - Bianca meets Lucas at school, and she can't stay away from him no matter how many warnings she's given!  But not everything is as it seems, and there's something bigger keeping them apart.  Can they overcome the odds to be together? Any vampire lovers in  will adore the first book in the Evernight series!
Falling Under by Gwen Hayes - Theia's been seeing a tall, dark , and handsome boy in her dreams and then he appears at her school! Haden plays fast and loose with Theia's affections, but that just draws her closer.  The twists will have readers entranced, as the question, Will Haden fall in love with Theia too?, is answered.  Readers will fall under the spell while reading.
Hex Hall by Rachel Hawkins - Sophie Mercer gets into a lot of trouble, but not of the normal rebellious teen kind; no Sophie likes to cast spells and they don't always go as planned.  So she gets sent to "Hex Hall", a school for the supernatural.  There she meets Archer, an infuriating  cocky, gorgeous warlock, and the sparks start flying   Such a funny book, readers will love the twists and the boys!
Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick - Nora is a normal girl, going through school without any particular attraction or time for boys.  But that's until Patch shows up, and flips her world upside down.  Who is he?  What does he want from her?  And why is she so drawn to him?  Patch is giving up the answers easily, and Nora will have to fight for a chance at love.  Once readers pick it up they won;t want to put it down!







Jekel Loves Hyde by Beth Fantaskey -  Jill Jekel does everything by the book, but when he college fund disappears with the murder of her father, she enlists the help of Tristen Hyde to win a scholarship.  But little does she know he has his own agenda, one with deadly consequences!  The classic Jekyll and Hyde with a modern twist, readers will devour this!

Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles - Brittany and Alex come from coompletely different worlds; she is in the popular crowd, and he runs with a gang.  But they're forced to be chemistry partners creating a barely tolerable relationship which blossoms into something more.  But will their differences and the secrets they both hide be too much to keep them together?  The ultimate bad boy book, readers will love it!







Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry - Echo has down a complete social plument from popular It Girl to freak loser.  She doesn't remember the events that led up to her fall, but she wants everything to go back to normal.  Enter Noah, resident bad boy loner, who turns Echo's life upside down.  Is she willing to risk everything she's worked hard to earn back, and will they survive it?  Sexy and fresh, readers will devour this!
