I really loved the movie, and these are just some of my opinions on the actors, the costumes, and the scenes.  BUT THERE ARE SPOILERS SO BEWARE!!

On the Screen (03)

On the Screen covers everything on both the big and small screens.  I will feature anything from a trailer to a synopsis of a movie/episode, or a simple gushing over a hot character/actor.  Pretty much whatever I damn well feel like that has to do with television or movies.

This week I have a movie trailer to share.  The Hangover was one of the funniest movies I've seen in a long time so The Hangover II will hopefully be as awesome!!!!!

Community for the WIN!

It is an awesome comedy on NBC starring Joel Mchale from The Soup and Chevy Chase from everything (lol), plus some other outstanding comedians including Ken Jeong, that's right, the naked Asian man from The Hangover!  CHECK IT OUT!!!

While I love books, sometimes I feel overwhelmed by all the book talking that goes on in my blog and all the other blogs I read.  So to remedy this, at least for my self, I am starting a new feature on Eli to the nth called On the Screen.  Please hold the applause.

What this feature will cover will be both big and small screen items (meaning TV and Film).  It could be anything from a trailer to a synopsis of a movie/episode, or a simple gushing over a hot character/actor.  Pretty much whatever I damn well feel that has to do with television or movies.

This week I'm just posting a trailer for a movie I'm super excited about.  Now don't judge but it is a comic book movie (I blame my older sister for this).  It is a prequel and something I've wanted to see brought to life for a while.

"I AM NUMBER FOUR"

is being turned into a movie!!!!!!

I was just flipping through trailers on Youtube, when I stumbled upon the trailer for the movie based on the book I Am Number Four by Pitticus Lore (a pseudonym for James Frey (who I despise) and Jobie Hughes (who I now nothing about)).

I've been wanting to read this book for awhile, but haven't gotten a copy yet.  But now that I've seen the trailer for it, my excitement has been pushed up even more.  Here's the synopsis from Goodreads:

In the beginning they were a group of nine. Nine aliens who left their home planet of Lorien when it fell under attack by the evil Mogadorian. Nine aliens who scattered on Earth. Nine aliens who look like ordinary teenagers living ordinary lives, but who have extraordinary, paranormal skills. Nine aliens who might be sitting next to you now.

The Nine had to separate and go into hiding. The Mogadorian caught Number One in Malaysia, Number Two in England, and Number Three in Kenya. All of them were killed. John Smith, of Paradise, Ohio, is Number Four. He knows that he is next.

Sounds pretty awesome.  A good mix of sci-fi and adventure, two of my favorite genres!

If you haven't read the book yet, watch the trailer below.  From what little I've read of the book and from friends of mine who own it, they think that the movie will follow the main plot pretty closly!
